Key Responsibilities:

  • Develops and implements strategic data management solutions to meet business needs and drive innovation in data-driven decision-making
  • Works closely with stakeholders and data governance bodies to ensure data architecture aligns with business objectives and regulatory requirements
  • Evaluates and recommends enterprise data management technologies, including data analytics platforms and cloud-based solutions
  • Designs robust and scalable data models that define how data will be stored, processed, and accessed
  • Provides technical leadership for data solution design architecture to support business cases and leads technical/technological proof-of-concepts for data-related projects
  • Leverages industry best practices and standards to develop data asset management models that improve data quality, reliability, accessibility, and security
  • Manages and audits IT project execution and data governance policies to ensure compliance with technical standards and regulations

Requirements:

  • Post-secondary technical degree (e.g., Computer Science, Computer Engineering) with relevant experience
  • Five years of professional experience in IT Enterprise/Solutions Architecture, data architecture, data management, and data integration
  • Technical/project leadership experience and graduate degree in a related field are assets
  • Extensive experience in data modeling, database design, and data warehousing; knowledge of cloud platforms and architecting hybrid data environments
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal; analytical thinking and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams

We offer an estimated salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 annually based on your qualifications and experience. This position allows for remote work up to three days per week, based on business needs. You are expected to live in Ontario and within reasonable commuting distance of our office.
