Job Title: Retail Store Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Retail Store Supervisor to join our team at Global Pet Foods. As a key member of our store operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our store, ensuring excellent customer service, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and Co-ordinate Activities: Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of store staff, including sales associates, cashiers, and stockroom personnel.
  • Assign Sales Workers to Duties: Assign sales workers to duties, including customer service, sales, and stockroom tasks.
  • Authorize Payments and Orders: Authorize payments by cheque and order merchandise as needed.
  • Establish Work Schedules: Establish work schedules for store staff, ensuring adequate coverage during peak periods.
  • Sell Merchandise: Sell merchandise to customers, providing excellent customer service and ensuring a positive shopping experience.
  • Prepare Reports: Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters, providing insights to management.
  • Resolve Issues: Resolve issues that may arise, including customer complaints, supply shortages, and employee conflicts.
  • Organize Inventory: Organize and maintain inventory, ensuring accurate stock levels and efficient stockroom operations.

Requirements:
  • Secondary (High) School Graduation Certificate: A secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
  • 1-2 Years of Experience: 1-2 years of experience in a retail or supervisory role is required.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential for this role.
  • Ability to Work in a Fast-Paced Environment: The ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities is required.
