Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented DZ Driver and Logistics Coordinator to join our team at ANDRITZ AG. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of goods across Southern Ontario.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Driving:
  • Operate a DZ class vehicle safely and efficiently to perform pickups and deliveries across Southern Ontario.
  • Ensure safe and timely transport of goods to various locations.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle.
  • Maintain accurate delivery records and adhere to all traffic laws and company policies.
  • Interact professionally with customers during pickups and deliveries.
  • Shipping/Receiving:
  • Manage the receipt, inspection, and storage of incoming materials.
  • Prepare and package outgoing shipments accurately.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and perform regular stock checks.
  • Operate forklifts and, where applicable, overhead cranes for loading and unloading goods.
  • Storeroom Activities
  • Cycle count adjustments.
  • Other duties as required.

Requirements:

  • Valid DZ driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Experience in shipping and receiving roles. 2+ years
  • Experience with overhead cranes and forklifts is an asset.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy objects safely - up to 23kg / 50lbs
  • Knowledge of Southern Ontario routes and locations.
  • Good communication skills and a professional attitude.
  • Grade 12 Diploma or Equivalency
  • Familiar with MS Word, Excel and SAP an asset
