Catering Operations Manager

Pizza By Johnny is seeking a skilled Catering Supervisor to join our team. As a Catering Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the preparation and presentation of food for our catering events.
Key Responsibilities:- Establish efficient methods to meet work schedules and ensure timely delivery of food.
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring high-quality standards are met.
- Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
- Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation and ensure accurate ordering.
- Hire and manage food service staff to meet the needs of our catering events.
- Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Prepare budgets and cost estimates for catering events, ensuring efficient use of resources.
- Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and timely manner.
- Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage to inform future catering operations.
- Prepare food order summaries for the chef to ensure seamless execution of catering events.
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Knowledge of culinary genres and ability to adapt to diverse catering events.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, under pressure, and meet tight deadlines.
- Physical stamina to perform tasks that require standing, walking, and lifting.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills to manage staff and ensure customer satisfaction.
