At UHI, we are seeking a highly skilled Financial Planning Analyst to join our team. This role will play a critical part in supporting the company's growth objectives while ensuring financial health and stability.

The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret financial data, identify patterns/issues, analyze root causes, and propose solutions to improve performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain annual budgets for various business units, including revenue and expense forecasts.
  • Coordinate with Commercial and Operations teams to create accurate financial projections for upcoming periods, analyzing trends and identifying potential risks and/or opportunities to inform future business strategies.
  • Generate regular reports and data visualizations, including daily sales reporting/analysis, and prepare ad-hoc analysis or reports as needed.
  • Monitor actual performance against budget and forecast, identifying variances and explaining the underlying cause(s).
  • Manage external and internal data sources, coordinating with service providers to ensure integrity of data, extract data from multiple ERPs, and analyze data to identify key trends and insights.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong analytical skills and problem-solving.
  • Proficiency in creating and manipulating financial models.
  • Effective communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, with familiarity with financial management software/ERP systems.
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, business, or related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in financial analysis or related analytical field.
