About the Role

Guidepoint is seeking a highly skilled Linux/DevOps Engineer to join our engineering team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our cloud infrastructure. Your expertise in Linux system administration, cloud automation, and DevOps practices will be instrumental in ensuring the smooth operation of our systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement cloud infrastructure using Terraform and Ansible
  • Configure and secure Linux systems, including CentOS and Apache
  • Deploy and manage software on application servers
  • Implement continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to identify and resolve technical issues
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in Linux system administration and DevOps practices
  • 4+ years of experience with Linux system administration
  • Experience with cloud automation tools, such as Terraform and Ansible
  • Strong understanding of Linux system security and configuration
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
