Linux Systems Engineer with DevOps Expertise

Key Responsibilities

As a Linux/DevOps Engineer at CRM Force, you will play a pivotal role in our clients' engineering team, ensuring the seamless operation of their systems. Your expertise will be instrumental in maintaining the stability and efficiency of our clients' infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, configure, and security harden CentOS OS Linux
  • Install and configure Apache, Vhosts, SSL, and modules
  • Install PHP, configure PECL/PEAR libraries, and setup database connectivity to MySQL via UnixODBC and FreeTDS
  • Install and setup Solr, Elasticsearch, and Redis for RedisCluster
  • Install SupervisorD and RabbitMQ in HA cluster mode
  • Install and configure Nginx, NodeJS, AngularCLI, and Forever
  • Deploy and configure software on application servers
  • Deploy Infrastructure as Code (IaC) through Terraform in Azure
  • Configure IaC of Azure cloud infrastructure using Ansible
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
  • 5+ years of experience working as a Linux/DevOps Engineer
  • 4+ years of experience with Linux System Administration
  • Experience working within the Azure Cloud highly preferred
  • Versatility in setting up SystemD processes, Cron jobs, SELINUX, parsing logfiles, and configuring logical and physical partitions
  • 2+ years of experience with Terraform and Ansible
  • 1+ years of experience working with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines
  • Some SQL skills preferred
  • Comfortable with Git/BitBucket
  • Comfortable with proxying, load balancing, sticky sessions, regex, modifying headers, and LUA scripting
