About the Role:

GardaWorld Cash is seeking a reliable and customer-focused Armed Cash Transport Specialist to join our team in Victoria, British Columbia.

As an Armed Guard, you will be responsible for the safe transportation of our customer's valuables, ensuring a secure and efficient experience.

We offer a competitive starting wage of $21.26/hour, a unionized environment, and opportunities for career growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform pickups and deliveries of valuables safely and efficiently
  • Reload or perform minor repairs on ABM machines
  • Ensure a safe environment for colleagues and customers
  • Follow established routes and schedules
  • Drive an armored vehicle and respect road safety
  • Load and unload the armored vehicle
  • Complete daily reports and paperwork

Requirements:

  • Possess a restricted and non-restricted Federal Firearms License (PAL)
  • Hold a valid driver's license (class 5 minimum) with a maximum loss of 6 demerit points
  • Be capable of lifting loads up to 50 pounds
  • Be available to work on call for evenings, nights, or weekend shifts
  • Be reliable, conscientious, and responsible in your job performance
  • Have excellent customer service skills and be able to manage stressful situations
