Food Service Manager

Join the MEAFORD SOCIAL RESTAURANT AND MEATS team as a Food Service Supervisor, where you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen and dining areas.
Key Responsibilities:- Leadership and Supervision: Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food, train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures, and ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
- Operations Management: Establish methods to meet work schedules, prepare budget and cost estimates, and maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
- Customer Service: Address customers' complaints or concerns, and ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
- Team Management: Supervise and check assembly of trays, supervise and check delivery of food trolleys, and establish work schedules.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Work Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a food service environment.
- Language: English.
- Work Hours: 30 to 44 hours per week.
The work environment is fast-paced, with tight deadlines and a combination of sitting, standing, and walking. The physical demands of the job include standing for extended periods and working under pressure.
Personal Suitability:- Client Focus: Excellent oral communication and interpersonal skills are essential for this role.
- Team Player: A team player with flexibility and a client-focused attitude is required.
