Job Title: Food Service Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at MEAFORD SOCIAL RESTAURANT AND MEATS. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of food and service to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leadership and Supervision: Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food, train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures, and ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
  • Operations Management: Establish methods to meet work schedules, prepare budget and cost estimates, and maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage.
  • Customer Service: Address customers' complaints or concerns, and ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
  • Team Management: Supervise and check assembly of trays, supervise and check delivery of food trolleys, and establish work schedules.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a food service environment.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced environment, work under pressure, tight deadlines, combination of sitting, standing, walking, standing for extended periods, and physically demanding.
