About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Structural Engineer to join our Buildings group at WSP Canada. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and analyzing building structures, ensuring they meet the highest standards of safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Design and analyze building structures using computer-aided design (CAD) software and structural analysis software such as ETABS and SAP 2000.
  2. Prepare structural integrity and assessment reports for clients.
  3. Collaborate with senior engineers and drafting personnel to assemble structural drawings.
  4. Manage and coordinate projects with clients and other disciplines.
  5. Perform site reviews and construction administration services during the construction phase.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Structural Engineering or a related field.
  • Registered Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) with the Professional Engineers Ontario (PEO).
  • Excellent knowledge of structural theory, the National Building Code of Canada, Ontario Building Code, and Canadian design standards.
  • Working knowledge of structural analysis and design software.
  • 5-10 years of experience in structural design of buildings.
  • Demonstrated project management experience.
