About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Drywall Finisher to join our team at Impulse Drywall Ltd. as a key member of our installation team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Apply successive coats of compound and sand seams and joints to achieve a smooth finish.
  • Cut and install metal corner beads to protect exterior corners and ensure a professional finish.
  • Fill joints, nail indentations, holes, and cracks with joint compound using a trowel and broad knife, demonstrating attention to detail.
  • Measure, cut, fit, and install drywall sheets to meet project requirements and specifications.
  • Position and secure sheets to metal or wooden studs or joists to ensure a stable and secure installation.
  • Smooth out excess compound and allow coat to dry, maintaining a high level of quality control.
  • Tape over joints using a taping machine and embed tape in compound, ensuring a seamless finish.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in drywall finishing or installation.
  • Permanent employment with a regular schedule of 35 to 40 hours per week.
  • Fluency in English as the primary language of communication.
