Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Drywall Finisher to join our team at Impulse Drywall Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for applying successive coats of compound and sanding seams and joints, cutting and installing metal corner beads, and filling joints and holes with joint compound.

Key Responsibilities
  • Apply Coats of Compound: Apply successive coats of compound to drywall surfaces, ensuring a smooth finish.
  • Sand Seams and Joints: Sand seams and joints to create a seamless finish.
  • Install Metal Corner Beads: Cut and install metal corner beads to protect exterior corners.
  • Filling Joints and Holes: Fill joints and holes with joint compound using a trowel and broad knife.
  • Measure and Cut Drywall: Measure, cut, fit, and install drywall sheets.
  • Secure Drywall: Position and secure drywall sheets to metal or wooden studs or joists.
  • Smooth Out Excess Compound: Smooth out excess compound and allow coat to dry.
  • Tape Joints: Tape over joints using a taping machine and embed tape in compound.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in drywall finishing.

Hours: 35 to 40 hours per week
