Assistant Store Manager

Fields is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Store Manager to join our dynamic team for a five-month contract. As a key member of our store operations team, you will be responsible for assisting the Store Manager in achieving sales goals, developing a strong team, and delivering exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop sales through timely execution of freight, maintenance of zone-a-grams, and compliance with store merchandising concepts.
- Communicate with the Store Manager regarding out-of-stock positions and ensure compliance with company policies and standard operating procedures.
- Assist with new hire onboarding and training, and deliver quality customer service by ensuring Fields' customer service standards are maintained.
- Support operational controls by ensuring health and safety compliance, maintaining a clean and easy-to-shop store environment, and enforcing standard operating procedures.
- Understand store profitability, sales, expenses, and markdowns, and effectively manage time and Associate productivity to maximize productivity.
- Exposure to commercial or retail industry.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Understanding of store operations, sales, and customer service principles.
