Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team at the Meadowbank Complex and Meliadine Mine. As a key member of our Energy & Infrastructure department, you will be responsible for operating heavy machinery equipment, including loaders, excavators, dozers, graders, backhoes, and articulated trucks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate heavy machinery equipment safely and efficiently
  • Perform daily equipment inspections and maintenance
  • Conduct field services such as snow removal, muck transfer, and site fuel delivery
  • Ensure all equipment is operated in a way that avoids premature breakage

Requirements

  • Heavy equipment certificate or training
  • Minimum 4000 hours of experience on heavy equipment
  • Driver's license Class 5 or equivalent
  • Ability to work in a multicultural environment
  • Effective communication skills in English (oral and written)
