Job Title: Casual Kitchen Helper

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Casual Kitchen Helper to join our team at Weyburn Comprehensive School.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with food preparation, serving, and cleaning duties in the school cafeteria. This is a casual position, with varying hours of work.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with food preparation, including meal planning, food handling, and cooking
  • Help with serving and cleaning duties in the cafeteria
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient food service

Requirements:

  • Grade 12 diploma from an institution recognized by the Board of Education
  • Valid Food-Safe Level 1 certification
  • Ability to lift up to 30 pounds without assistance
  • Knowledge of industrial kitchen equipment and its use
