Job Title: Casual Kitchen Helper

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Casual Kitchen Helper to join our team at Weyburn Comprehensive School. The successful candidate will have a strong commitment to public education and the mission of the South East Cornerstone Public School Division.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the preparation and serving of meals in the school cafeteria.
  • Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment.
  • Follow established food safety and handling procedures.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient meal service.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by school administration.
Qualifications:
  • Grade 12 diploma from a recognized institution.
  • Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment is an asset.
  • Valid Food-Safe Level 1 certification.
  • Ability to lift up to 30 pounds without assistance.
  • Knowledge of industrial kitchen equipment and its maintenance.
Salary and Benefits:

The successful candidate will be paid in accordance with the applicable collective agreement.
