Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Staff Software Engineer to join our Engineering team in Burnaby, BC.

In this role, you will design and develop leading-edge cybersecurity solutions, working closely with cross-functional teams to drive project delivery and technical excellence.

You will be responsible for developing deep mastery of assigned projects and associated technologies, leading complex software solutions design, development, and implementation, and providing technical guidance and mentorship to team members.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 12+ years of software development experience with programming languages such as Go Lang, Python, and Java;
  • 3+ years of experience working in high-volume data applications and familiarity with data processing frameworks, such as kafka, Spark, Flink, etc.;
  • Working knowledge of Kubernetes, Docker, and cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP;
  • Ability to produce logically structured, accurate, and clearly written materials;
  • Ability to communicate issues factually and openly;
  • Bachelor's of science in computer science or equivalent.
