We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Android Developer to join our team at Tangerine. As a key member of our mobile development team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying high-quality mobile applications that meet the needs of our customers.
Key Responsibilities- Design and develop native mobile applications for Android using Kotlin, Java, and other relevant technologies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, product, and QA, to ensure seamless integration and delivery of mobile applications.
- Develop and maintain high-quality code, following best practices and industry standards.
- Participate in code reviews, provide feedback, and ensure that code is maintainable, efficient, and scalable.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest Android development trends, technologies, and best practices.
- Work closely with the DevOps team to ensure smooth deployment and maintenance of mobile applications.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers and contribute to the growth and development of the team.
- 5+ years of experience in software development, with at least 3+ years of experience in native mobile development.
- Strong knowledge of Android platform, including Kotlin, Java, Dagger, and Android Studio.
- Experience with architectural design patterns, such as MVVM, MVC, and Clean Architecture.
- Proficient understanding of unit-testing, code for robustness, security, usability, and improving performance of the overall application.
- Familiarity with building mobile accessibility components to improve application usability.
- Strong command in Computer Science concepts, including SOLID principles.
- Experience in integrating Third Party libraries and SDKs.
- Experience building applications that consume web services and HTTP REST interaction with JSON.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and passion for well-designed products.
