Senior Cybersecurity Solutions Specialist Technical Operations

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Cybersecurity Solutions Specialist to join our team at Geotab Inc. in Oakville, Ontario.
About the Role:This is a permanent, full-time position that requires a strong background in security evaluation/analysis and/or risk assessments, with a focus on cloud security in GCP and AWS.
Key Responsibilities:- Analyze, design, and automate security processes with a strong focus on cloud computing (GCP and AWS).
- Work independently to devise and deploy automated security solutions in the cloud, taking ownership of strategic processes, including change management and vulnerability management.
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of Geotab's security programs and data infrastructure, with a particular emphasis on cloud environments (GCP and AWS).
- Lead and implement security-related projects, ensuring they are executed correctly from a detailed management perspective.
- Design and improve security processes to meet compliance requirements and mitigate risk in cloud deployments.
- 5-8 years of experience in security evaluation/analysis and/or risk assessments, with a technology-focused industry, featuring cloud security in GCP and AWS.
- Post-secondary diploma/degree specialization in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- CISSP designation required, public cloud security certification highly preferred.
- Strong expertise in cloud security architecture and infrastructure.
- Experience with security automation tools and frameworks.
