About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our team at Back Country Jack's Restaurant. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for assisting the Executive Chef in the day-to-day operations of the kitchen, including menu planning, food preparation, and staff supervision.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Executive Chef in menu planning, food preparation, and presentation
  • Supervise and train kitchen staff to ensure high-quality food production
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
  • Monitor food costs and inventory levels
  • Develop and implement new recipes and menu items
  • Collaborate with the Executive Chef to ensure seamless kitchen operations
Requirements
  • 3-4 years of experience in a senior culinary role
  • Proven track record of menu planning, food preparation, and staff supervision
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Food Safety Certification
