Job Summary

THAI EXPRESS is seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to lead our kitchen team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of food and service to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of food service staff, including food preparation, portioning, and presentation.
    • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
    • Develop and implement effective training programs to enhance staff performance and productivity.
  • Operations Management
    • Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation to ensure efficient inventory management.
    • Prepare and manage budgets and cost estimates to maintain profitability.
    • Monitor and maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage to inform business decisions.
  • Customer Service
    • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards to exceed customer expectations.
    • Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and timely manner.
  • Reporting and Administration
    • Prepare and submit reports on sales, inventory, and staff performance to inform business decisions.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience
    • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a food service or restaurant management role.
  • Skills
    • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
    • Attention to detail and ability to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
    • Flexibility and ability to work in a team environment.
Work Environment

THAI EXPRESS is a fast-paced and dynamic work environment. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be required to work in a standing position for extended periods and be physically demanding.
