We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Bookkeeping Specialist to join our team at Punjaabi Indian Cuisine. As a key member of our accounting department, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring the smooth operation of our financial systems.
Key Responsibilities- Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
- Account Reconciliation: Reconcile bank statements and credit card statements to ensure accuracy and identify any discrepancies.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Payroll Processing: Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll, as well as maintain accurate records of employee hours and wages.
- Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement, and provide recommendations to management.
- Education: College or CEGEP diploma in a related field, such as accounting or finance.
- Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a bookkeeping or accounting role.
- Skills: Strong organizational and time management skills, attention to detail, and ability to work accurately and efficiently under pressure.
- Language: Fluency in English.
