A2Z cash 'n' Carry is seeking a skilled Accounting Clerk to join our team. As an Accounting Clerk, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, preparing cheques for payroll, and reconciling accounts. You will also be responsible for calculating fixed assets and depreciation, as well as preparing financial statements and tax returns.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles and practices, as well as excellent organizational and communication skills. You will be working in a fast-paced environment and will be required to meet tight deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records
  • Prepare cheques for payroll and reconcile accounts
  • Calculate fixed assets and depreciation
  • Prepare financial statements and tax returns
  • Meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Requirements:

  • College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in accounting
  • Permanent employment
  • 35 hours per week
