Job Title: Haitian Creole Medical Telecommunications Specialist

We are currently seeking a skilled Haitian Creole Medical Telecommunications Specialist to join our team at Kelly Services, Inc. As a Medical Telecommunications Specialist, you will play a vital role in facilitating communication between patients and healthcare professionals who speak different languages.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide accurate and clear medical interpretation during phone calls between patients and healthcare professionals.
  • Utilize your knowledge of medical terminology to navigate conversations in specialized fields such as healthcare, insurance, and law enforcement.
  • Demonstrate cultural sensitivity and understanding to create an inclusive atmosphere, fostering a positive and effective communication environment.
  • Maintain a high level of professionalism, confidentiality, and accuracy during all interactions.
  • Follow a weekly schedule of a minimum 30 hours per week with no planned absences for the first 450 hours worked.

Requirements:

  • Be fluent in English and Haitian Creole, reading, writing, and speaking.
  • Have acquired a high school diploma or GED.
  • Be confident with medical terminology, although not required.
  • Be 18 years or older.
