Position Overview

Shared Health is seeking a highly skilled ECHO Facilitator to support the delivery of high-quality, evidence-based mental health and addictions care in Manitoba communities. The successful candidate will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to plan and execute multi-session virtual education programs provincially.

Main Function

The Provincial ECHO Facilitator will oversee meetings and session logistics, including scheduling presenters/moderators, developing, collecting, sharing, and printing relevant materials, guiding meeting agendas, and preparing minutes. The coordinator will also support the program with participant recruitment and communicate with healthcare provider participants and clinical educators before, during, and after the session to ensure they can adequately engage in the program.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to plan and execute multi-session virtual education programs provincially.
  • Oversee meetings and session logistics, including scheduling presenters/moderators, developing, collecting, sharing, and printing relevant materials.
  • Support the program with participant recruitment and communicate with healthcare provider participants and clinical educators.
  • Engage with diverse program stakeholders to understand their needs and support the evaluation of sessions.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in health professional/clinical education.
  • Experience in curriculum design and multimedia education, including online learning.
  • Evidence of superior communication skills.
  • A Bachelor's degree in health-related professions is required. A master's degree in a health discipline is preferred.
  • Active member in good standing of an associated regulatory body as appropriate.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Excellent interpersonal skills, organizational, and decision-making skills required.
  • Must have excellent English communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Excellent facilitation skills.
  • Understanding of continuing medical/psychosocial education, the mental health and addictions system, digital health solutions, and software (including Zoom) are required.

Physical Requirements

  • May be required to work safely in a typical computerized office environment with frequent meetings.
  • May be required to travel throughout the service area requiring a valid Manitoba driver's license and use of a personal motor vehicle.
