Job Description

The Advanced Care Paramedic is responsible for providing immediate treatment and transportation of sick and injured individuals to appropriate medical facilities. This role requires operating within the knowledge and scope of the Advanced Care practice, providing leadership throughout each shift using specified educational training.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create and maintain fully completed patient care reports.
  • Maintain patient confidentiality in accordance with all provincial and federal regulations.
  • Refer all media requests to the General Manager of MHS - West.
  • Report all incidents and complete written incident report forms to General Manager of MHS - West or designate.
Requirements
  • Certified in and maintains CPR certification.
  • Current registration with the Alberta College of Paramedics.
