We are seeking a skilled Heavy Duty Mechanic to join our team at our Fort St John location.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing repairs and maintenance on all types of heavy equipment, including on-road and off-road vehicles, construction tools, and concrete plants.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safely perform equipment repairs and preventive maintenance in a timely manner.
  • Assist in completing all maintenance inspections.
  • Complete work orders and proper documentation of repairs and maintenance.
  • Assess, record, and report any equipment deficiencies.
  • Support mobile work crews and business functions in a variety of tasks.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1+ years experience as a Heavy Duty Mechanic.
  • Strong technical knowledge and mechanical aptitude to perform service on various equipment.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal direction.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical troubleshooting, hydraulics, and hydrostatic systems.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to multitask.
  • Team player with a common goal-oriented mindset.
