Job Summary

We are seeking a Heavy-Duty Mechanic to join our team in Fort St John, BC. The successful candidate will provide support to complete daily repairs and preventive maintenance on all types of heavy equipment, including on/off-road, pickups, construction tools, concrete plants, and facilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Safely perform equipment repairs and preventive maintenance in a timely manner.
  • Assist in completing all maintenance inspections.
  • Complete work orders and proper documentation of repairs and maintenance.
  • Assess, record, and report any equipment deficiencies.
  • Support mobile work crews and business functions in a variety of tasks.

Requirements

  • Minimum 1+ years experience as a Heavy-Duty Mechanic.
  • Strong technical knowledge and mechanical aptitude to perform service on various equipment ranging from heavy-duty equipment to small engine and tools.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal direction.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical troubleshooting, hydraulics, and hydrostatic systems.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to multitask.
  • Team player- common goal oriented.
