Child Care Program Manager

The Child Care Program Manager role at Alberta LTD. involves overseeing daily operations of child-care programs that cater to the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement structured activities and lesson plans that support children's overall growth and well-being.
  • Supervise staff members, trainees, or volunteers in providing quality care and ensuring a safe environment for children.
  • Lead educational activities by reading stories, teaching songs, and taking children on outings to local attractions.
  • Procure necessary supplies and equipment for the program.
  • Assist children in developing proper hygiene habits and observing them for potential learning or behavioral issues, preparing reports for parents or guardians as needed.
  • Maintain a secure and healthy environment for children by planning and organizing daily routines.
  • Coordinate activities for school-age children before and after regular school hours.
Requirements
  • ECE level 2 certification is required for this position.
  • Able to stand, sit, and walk for extended periods due to frequent interaction with children.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar role.
