Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Healthcare Support Worker to join our team at YARROW LIMITED PARTNERSHIP. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality care and support to our residents in a nursing home setting.

Responsibilities
  • Provide personal care and assistance with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Assist with meal preparation and feeding, as well as serving meal trays and snacks.
  • Monitor and record vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
  • Transport residents safely and efficiently using wheelchairs or stretchers.
  • Respond to call signals and provide assistance with emergency situations.
  • Participate in maintaining a clean and safe environment, including making beds and maintaining patient rooms.
Requirements
  • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year.
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a healthcare setting.
  • Criminal record check and immunization records.
