Advanced Machine Learning Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Advanced Machine Learning Engineer to optimize our security intelligence platforms using machine learning systems. The ideal candidate will evaluate existing machine learning processes, perform statistical analysis to resolve data set problems, and enhance the accuracy of our AI software's predictive automation capabilities.
To ensure success in this role, you should demonstrate solid data science knowledge and experience in a related machine learning position. A top-notch machine learning engineer will be someone whose expertise translates into the enhanced performance of predictive automation software.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with managers to determine and refine machine learning objectives.
- Design machine learning systems and self-running artificial intelligence (AI) software to automate predictive models.
- Transform data science prototypes and apply appropriate ML algorithms and tools.
- Evaluate algorithms to ensure accurate user recommendations.
- Convert unstructured data into useful information through auto-tagging images and text-to-speech conversions.
- Solve complex problems with multi-layered data sets and optimize existing machine learning libraries and frameworks.
- Develop ML algorithms to analyze large volumes of historical data for predictions.
- Pursue research in NLP, Code Embeddings, and write patents/whitepapers.
- Build models using Graph Machine Learning for predictive analysis tasks.
- Establish MLOps pipelines in an end-to-end manner for complex tasks.
- Rigorous testing, statistical analysis, and interpretation of test results.
- Documentation of machine learning processes.
- Stay up-to-date on machine learning developments.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, data science, mathematics, or a related field.
- Master's degree in Natural Language Processing, Machine Learning, or similar is advantageous.
- Previous experience in developing code embeddings for a real-world ML application.
- Understanding of advanced threat detection using static and dynamic ML.
- At least two years' experience as a machine learning engineer.
- Advanced proficiency with Python coding.
- Experience in practical MLOps and knowledge of Data Version Control, Git/SVN.
- Extensive knowledge of ML frameworks, libraries, data structures, data modeling, and software architecture.
- In-depth knowledge of mathematics, statistics, and algorithms.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Strong time management and organizational abilities.
The estimated annual salary range for this full-time position in Canada is $100,000-$130,000. This figure is based on various factors including the labour market, job type, and level of experience. Exact salary offers will be determined by factors such as the candidate's subject matter expertise, skill level, qualifications, and experience.
