Job Title: Hydro Blast Technician

Company Profile: DeBusk Services Canada is a leading provider of mechanical and industrial cleaning services, specializing in the downstream energy market. Our services include hydro blasting, hydro cutting, hydro excavation, chemical cleaning, and more.

Job Summary:

The Hydro Blast Technician will perform a wide range of physical activities, requiring strength and flexibility, to handle equipment and materials, respond to emergencies, and perform high-pressure water blasting.

Responsibilities:
  • Operate and set up cleaning equipment, including high-pressure pumps and vacuum trucks, in accordance with safety procedures and guidelines.
  • Adhere to all safety policies and practices, including personal protective gear.
  • Work safely in and around heavy machinery in loud, hazardous, and industrial settings.
  • Manually clean, install, and repair valves, caps, hoses, pumps, and other equipment on tanks.
  • Assist in inspecting equipment and work areas prior to starting a job, identifying potential hazards and reporting deficiencies to supervisors.
Qualifications:
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Pass a pre-employment drug screen.
  • Valid driver's license or state-issued ID.
  • Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
  • Basic safety training skills.
  • Hydro blasting or pressure cleaning experience required.
  • General labor experience is a plus.
Physical Requirements:
  • Physically capable of performing all duties and responsibilities.
  • Able to lift at least 50 pounds.
  • Physically capable of standing and/or walking continuously for long periods.
  • Physically capable of climbing, balancing, bending, and kneeling.
