Job Title: Relief Receptionist

We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Relief Receptionist to join our team at YWCA Toronto. As a key member of our administrative team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our clients and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Answer and direct phone calls, emails, and in-person inquiries in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Greet visitors and redirect them to the appropriate staff or program.
  • Present a positive and professional image of the organization to all visitors, suppliers, and inquiries.
  • Ensure the reception area is welcoming and well-maintained.
  • Receive and distribute incoming supplies and deliveries.
  • Perform other duties and special projects as assigned by the Office Co-ordinator or Manager of Administration.
Qualifications:
  • Completion of high school, including technical or commercial training in relevant fields.
  • 1-3 years of directly related work experience.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organizational and administrative abilities.
  • Ability to deliver culturally sensitive service in a multicultural environment.
  • Ability to maintain a positive approach and professional manner at all times.
  • Knowledge of a second language is an asset.
