Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Claims Adjuster and Examiner to join our team at CAA Club Group. As a key member of our claims department, you will be responsible for settling and investigating claims related to various types of insurance, including habitation, automobile, motorcycle, and commercial insurance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough investigations into claims, gathering statements and assessing loss to determine coverage and proceed with settlement negotiations.
  • Determine subrogation potential and guide external vendors for effective investigation and control of claims.
  • Prepare correspondence and file reports, as well as process payments and maintain accurate claim reserves.
  • Actively manage claims audit programs and ensure timely and accurate resolution of claims.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and customers across provinces, requiring strong business writing and interpersonal skills.
Requirements
  • College certificate and minimum 5 years of experience as a Personal-lines Damage Insurance and Commercial-line Damage Insurance Claims Adjuster.
  • CIP or FCIP designation or working towards is an asset.
  • Bilingual in French and English, with strong analytical, organizational, decision-making, problem-solving, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to multi-task in a claim department with evolving duties and responsibilities.
