About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Roofing Assistant to join our team at Top Glaze Roofing Ltd. As a key member of our crew, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our construction projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Loading and Unloading: Safely load and unload construction materials from vehicles and equipment.
  • Material Handling: Transport materials to and from construction sites, ensuring timely delivery and minimizing delays.
  • Task Execution: Assist in mixing, pouring, and spreading materials such as concrete and asphalt, adhering to safety protocols and quality standards.
  • Cleanliness and Organization: Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including the proper storage and disposal of materials.
  • Maintenance and Repair: Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure the longevity of our equipment and tools.
Work Environment and Physical Demands

This role requires a high level of physical fitness, manual dexterity, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. You will be exposed to various weather conditions and may be required to work at heights.

Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required, but a willingness to learn and develop your skills is essential.
  • Work Experience: Willingness to train and learn on the job.
  • Language: English is the primary language of communication in this role.
  • Work Schedule: 35 hours per week, with a regular schedule and occasional overtime as needed.
