Job Title: Roofing Assistant

We are seeking a skilled Roofing Assistant to join our team at United Roofing Edmonton Inc. As a key member of our construction team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the successful completion of roofing projects.

Job Summary:

The Roofing Assistant will assist in the installation, repair, and maintenance of roofing systems. This includes loading and unloading construction materials, assisting in framing houses, erecting walls, and building roofs. The successful candidate will also be responsible for cleaning and piling salvaged materials, removing rubble and debris from construction sites, and maintaining a safe working environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Load, unload, and transport construction materials
  • Assist in framing houses, erecting walls, and building roofs
  • Clean and pile salvaged materials
  • Remove rubble and debris at construction sites
  • Maintain a safe working environment
Requirements:
  • Construction Safety Training Systems (CSTS) Certificate
  • Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate
  • Fall Arrest Protection Training Course
  • Valid driver's license
  • Own transportation
Working Conditions:

The Roofing Assistant will work in a fast-paced environment with physically demanding tasks. The successful candidate must be able to handle heavy loads, work at heights, and be willing to relocate for this position.
