Job Title: Senior Accountant

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join our team at The Bookkeeping Bureau Ltd. As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for managing balance sheets and profit/loss statements, supervising staff, and analyzing clients' financial records.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify clients' financial goals and objectives
  • Manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements
  • Supervise staff and train them on accounting procedures
  • Analyze clients' financial records and ensure accuracy and compliance to accounting standards
  • Prepare financial information for individuals, departments, or companies
  • Develop financial plans for clients and make recommendations concerning cash management, insurance coverage, investment planning, retirement, and estate planning
  • Prepare financial statements and reports, and recommend improvements to accounting systems and management practices
  • Prepare income tax returns from accounting records and analyze financial documents and reports
  • Examine accounting records and provide financial, business, and tax advice
  • Keep financial records and establish, maintain, and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems
Requirements:
  • 5 years or more of experience in accounting
  • Strong knowledge of accounting software, including QuickBooks and MS Excel
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Dependability, reliability, and a strong work ethic
