About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Development Director to lead our Quality Verification (QV) department, comprising management, quality design, engineering, and analytics. This multi-discipline department is a component of the development and live services for our EA Sports FC (Football Club) products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operational Leadership: Provide strategic leadership for the QV department, driving software and game quality to meet business objectives.
- Project Management: Manage planning in all development stages from pre-production, production, launch, and live services.
- Risk Management: Identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring timely delivery and quality standards.
- Team Management: Mentor and support other leaders across all disciplines, build and mentor teams, and coordinate talent management and succession planning.
- Culture and Diversity: Promote a culture of diversity and inclusion, and foster a collaborative work environment.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of project management or team leadership experience.
- 3+ years of experience managing people, including managing managers.
- 3+ years of experience leading and growing large multi-discipline teams.
- 3+ years of experience with automated testing.
- 1+ years experience with Continuous Delivery or Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills.
- Understand software quality assurance and software development lifecycle practices.
- Education requirement: University Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
Compensation and Benefits:
Electronic Arts offers a competitive base salary range of $115,100 - $161,200 CAN Annually, depending on location. We also offer a package of benefits, including vacation, sick time, paid parental leave, extended health/dental/vision coverage, life insurance, disability insurance, and a retirement plan.
