Quality Assurance Director

Electronic Arts Inc. is seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Director to lead our Quality Verification department. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for driving software and game quality to ensure our products meet the highest standards.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage operational aspects of Quality Verification planning in all development stages.
  • Build Quality Assurance practices that improve upstream quality and shift left ideology.
  • Use a data-driven approach to contribute to product quality and project efficiency.
  • Collaborate across a diverse group of project leaders and development partners.
  • Align internal partners towards outlined goals and guide your team to achieve milestones at quality.
  • Change management, viewing challenges as opportunities to implement strategic enhancements.
  • Identify resourcing requirements, guide and cultivate changes to talent, skills, and practices.
  • Manage performance and conduct annual reviews.
  • Manage the professional growth of team members.
  • Collaboratively resolve obstacles, ensuring team satisfaction.
  • Monitor and develop the talent skill-set.
  • Provide mentorship and support to other leaders with diverse teams.
  • Advocate for a culture of diversity and inclusion.
Requirements:
  • ~7+ years of experience in Quality Assurance.
  • ~7+ years of experience in people management.
  • ~5+ years of experience with project management and bug tracking tools.
  • An understanding of game development, interdisciplinary dependencies, and associated development risks.
  • Experience working within a collaborative team environment.
Benefits:

Electronic Arts Inc. offers a competitive base salary range of $115,100 - $161,200 CAN Annually, as well as a package of benefits including vacation, sick time, paid top-up to EI/QPIP benefits, extended health/dental/vision coverage, life insurance, disability insurance, and retirement plan.
