We are seeking a highly skilled Simulator Technician to join our dynamic team at the CAE Toronto Aviation Training centre.
As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for:
- Performing daily pre-training checks to ensure the simulator is in optimal working condition.
- Completing corrective and preventive maintenance tasks to maintain the simulator's performance and reliability.
- Reviewing discrepancies and determining appropriate action to clear them.
- Performing daily visual setup and calibration to ensure accurate simulation.
- Meeting regulatory requirements, including QTGs for recurrent qualifications and pre-inspection checks.
- Briefing and debriefing flight crews on daily simulator status.
- Making customer-specific configuration changes.
- Entering and keeping current deficiency reports in our database.
What We Offer
As a Simulator Technician at CAE, you will have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment with a dynamic team. You will be responsible for ensuring the simulator is in optimal working condition, which is critical to our training programs.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Strong technical skills and knowledge of simulator maintenance.
- Ability to work rotating shifts and irregular hours to cover a 24/7 operation.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
