About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated patient care associate to join our team at Salve Health Care Services Inc.

Job Summary

This is a permanent on-the-road job requiring 30-40 hours of work per week. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care, ensuring their comfort and well-being in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
  • Supply and empty bed pans, maintaining a clean and hygienic environment for patients
  • Take patients' vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and pulse, as required
  • Serve meal trays and feed patients with dignity and respect
  • Make beds and maintain patients' rooms, adhering to infection control protocols
  • Bathe, dress, and groom patients with care and compassion
  • Transport patients in wheelchair or stretcher, ensuring their safety and comfort
Requirements
  • A secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required
  • Experience is an asset, but not mandatory
  • The ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate with patients, families, and healthcare staff
