Job Title: Field Service Technician for Electronic Products

We are seeking a skilled Field Service Technician to join our team at Safeway Electrical Inc. as a Field Service Technician for Electronic Products.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for inspecting and testing electronic equipment and assemblies, diagnosing and locating circuit, component, and equipment faults, and adjusting, aligning, replacing, or repairing electronic equipment and assemblies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Inspect and test electronic equipment and assemblies to ensure proper functioning
  • Diagnose and locate circuit, component, and equipment faults using technical knowledge and diagnostic tools
  • Adjust, align, replace, or repair electronic equipment and assemblies to meet customer requirements
  • Complete work orders, test, and maintenance reports to ensure accurate documentation
  • Prepare cost estimates for repairs and maintenance services
  • Read blueprints and drawings to understand electronic system designs
Requirements:
  • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 to 2 years
  • Experience in electronic equipment repair and maintenance an asset
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
  • Physical stamina to perform manual tasks and lift equipment
