Job Title: Desktop Technical Support Analyst

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Desktop Technical Support Analyst to join our team at CB Canada. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for providing top-notch technical support to our employees and ensuring the smooth operation of our desktop systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide level 1 and level 2 technical support to employees via phone, email, and in-person
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to desktop systems, laptops, tablets, and printers
  • Install, configure, and maintain desktop systems, software, and hardware
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve complex technical issues
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation and knowledge base articles
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technology trends and advancements
  • Participate in on-call rotation to provide after-hours support

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of experience in a desktop technical support role
  • Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems, Microsoft Office, and other productivity software
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Post-secondary degree in Computer Science or a related field

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in a banking or financial institution
  • Knowledge of network protocols and security measures
  • Certifications in technical support or ITIL
