Job Overview

Halton Healthcare is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our dynamic Medical/Surgical unit. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will provide high-quality patient care and contribute to a positive and supportive work environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide safe and effective nursing care to patients with a variety of medical and surgical needs
  • Assess patient needs, develop and implement individualized care plans, and evaluate patient outcomes
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless care transitions and effective communication
  • Participate in ongoing education and professional development to enhance clinical skills and knowledge

Requirements

  • Current registration in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario
  • Current Heart & Stroke approved Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Recent medical/surgical experience in an acute care setting
  • Telemetry experience
  • Coronary Care I certification within 6 months of hire
