Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced RN - Med/Surg MDH to join our dynamic team of healthcare professionals. As a Surgical Nurse Practitioner, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care in our acute medical and surgical unit.
About the Role
As a Surgical Nurse Practitioner, you will be responsible for:
- Providing safe, evidence-informed quality nursing care to an acute medical and surgical patient population
- Assessing patients, intervening appropriately, and evaluating outcomes
- Caring for patients with a variety of needs, including IVs, medication administration, blood and blood product administration, and wound management
- Working collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive patient care
Requirements
To be successful as a Surgical Nurse Practitioner at Halton Healthcare, you must have:
- Current registration in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario
- Recent medical/surgical experience in an acute care setting
- Telemetry experience
- Ability to prioritize and work efficiently in a rapidly changing environment
- Caring, compassionate, customer-focused attitude towards patients and families
Compensation and Benefits
