About the Role

As a Snowflake Consultant, you will be the key driver of client engagements, delivering tailored Snowflake solutions that meet their unique needs. You will work closely with clients to understand their data requirements, ensuring data governance and security compliance, optimizing costs, designing efficient data pipelines, and providing expert guidance on best practices.

Responsibilities
  • Advise clients on the suitability of Snowflake for their needs
  • Translate business requirements into data-driven solutions
  • Optimize customer Snowflake instances by implementing best practices in cost management, storage efficiency, compute scalability, and data pipeline optimization
  • Design implementation plans and provide estimates for executing such plans
  • Lead a team towards successful delivery of data solutions built on the Snowflake platform
Requirements
  • Certified as a SnowPro Advanced Architect and SnowPro Advanced Data Engineer
  • Extensive consulting experience is required
  • Design and implement comprehensive data models using structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data
  • Develop and optimize data pipelines using stream and batch processing
  • Proactively identify and resolve performance issues in Snowflake
  • Implement robust data governance solutions in compliance with CCPA and GDPR
  • Apply security best practices in Snowflake
  • Design and manage secure data-sharing solutions
  • Optimize data ingestion and extraction processes
  • Execute complex data processing workloads using Snowpark
  • Implement and manage Snowflake's data recovery and protection features
  • Proven experience leading a team of data engineers
