We are seeking an experienced Coatings Technician to join our dynamic team at JobCart Inc. This critical role is responsible for ensuring our products meet the highest standards of quality and durability. Our ideal candidate will have a strong background in powder coating, with a focus on surface preparation, and a commitment to safety and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Surface Preparation: Clean, sand, and mask surfaces as necessary to prepare them for powder coating.
  • Coating Application: Apply powder coating to various metal components following established procedures and quality standards.
  • Equipment Operation: Operate powder coating equipment efficiently and safely.
  • Quality Control: Inspect finished products for quality and make any necessary touch-ups or rework.
  • Work Environment: Maintain a clean and organized work area, and adhere to strict safety protocols.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum 2 years of proven experience as a Powder Coater or in a similar role.
  • Knowledge: Knowledge of powder coating techniques, equipment, and materials.
  • Safety: Ability to work in a hot environment with exposure to ovens and other high-temperature equipment.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift heavy objects and stand for long periods.
