Job Title: Auto Body Technician

We are seeking a skilled Auto Body Technician to join our team at Super Auto Body Ltd. As an Auto Body Technician, you will be responsible for repairing and restoring vehicles to their original condition.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Clean and maintain work space to ensure a safe and efficient working environment.
  • Replace front end components, body components, doors, and frame and underbody components to restore the vehicle's original shape and function.
  • File, grind, and sand body surfaces to be repaired to ensure a smooth finish.
  • Mask and tape auto body surfaces in preparation for painting to ensure a precise and even coat.
  • Remove damaged fenders, panels, and grills and bolt or weld replacement parts into place to restore the vehicle's original appearance.
  • Apply primers and repaint surfaces to match the original color and finish.
  • Repair or replace interior components to restore the vehicle's original comfort and functionality.
  • Operate soldering equipment or use plastic filler to fill holes, dents, and seams to ensure a smooth finish.
  • Straighten bent frames using frame and underbody pulling and anchoring equipment to restore the vehicle's original shape and function.
Requirements:
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in the automotive repair industry.
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Accurate and attention to detail.
  • Client focus and excellent communication skills.
  • Judgement and problem-solving skills.
  • Team player and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
