The North West Company is seeking an Optical Assistant to support our optical operations in Iqaluit, Nunavut.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurately and efficiently distribute prescription eyewear to patients.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support to patients and colleagues.
  • Assist with data entry, inventory management, and optical center maintenance.
  • Develop strong relationships with patients and colleagues to ensure a positive and supportive work environment.

Requirements:

  • Certificate or diploma in an optical-related program is an asset.
  • Previous medical office, general office, and/or retail experience is an asset.
  • Strong verbal communication skills and ability to provide superior customer service.
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask.
